Biographical Information
Jonathan R. Maples was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. Jonathan attended W.P. Davidson High School and obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama. While at the University of Alabama, Jonathan was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Jonathan obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the Culverhouse School of Accountancy at the University of Alabama in 2004.
After graduating from the University of Alabama, Jonathan went directly into law school in 2004 at the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, Jonathan was a member of the Student Farrah Law Society and the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board. As part of the Campbell Moot Court Board, Jonathan was a member of the Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Moot Court Team. As part of this team, Jonathan competed in the 2007 Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Moot Court Competition at New York Law School in New York, New York. Jonathan graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2007 and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar the same year. Upon being admitted to the bar in 2007, Jonathan joined the law firm of Luther, Crowe & Rainey, P.C.
Jonathan is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the American Bar Association and the Mobile Bar Association. Jonathan has been a member of the Alabama State Bar since 2007, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Alabama since 2007, the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Alabama since 2007, and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Alabama since 2007.
