Biographical Information
Brigg Austin was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. Brigg attended high school at St. Paul's Episcopal School, and obtained his undergraduate degree at Birmingham Southern College in economics, with a minor in history. While at Birmingham Southern, Brigg was active in many campus organizations.
After graduating from Birmingham Southern, Brigg received and accepted a scholarship to law school in 2003 at The University of Alabama School of Law. In 2006, Brigg graduated from Alabama Law School and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar the same year. Upon being admitted to the Bar in 2006, Brigg joined the law firm of Luther, Crowe, & Rainey, P.C.
Brigg is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the American Bar Association, the Mobile Bar Association, and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association. Brigg has been a member of The Alabama State Bar since 2006, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Alabama since 2006, the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Alabama since 2006, and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Alabama since 200.
Brigg is married to the former Katie Connaughty of Peachtree City, Georgia who is a high school teacher at St. Paul's Episcopal School. They were married in October of 2006. When not working, Brigg's hobbies include athletics, hunting, golf, and fishing.
