Summer Clerkship Program

Luther, Oldenburg & Rainey, P.C. has consistently continued to grow and has capable attorneys handling cases in all areas of civil practice throughout the Gulf Coast Regions of Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi. We aim to interview and select the most qualified, brightest law school graduates to become associated with our firm. This process begins with on-campus interviews at both, Cumberland School of Law and the University of Alabama, School of Law. During your clerkship with our firm, you will be surrounded by a well-qualified group of associates and partners who are eager to mentor you as you progress into the legal community. You will attend depositions, sit through client interviews, go to court with the firm’s attorneys and experience many other educational opportunities.

Besides learning a great deal about the practice of law, you will have plenty of time for fun as well. There will be many opportunities to play with our firm in the Mobile Lawyer’s Softball League, we will attend baseball games at Hank Aaron Stadium to watch the Mobile BayBears, and we will participate in the annual Young Lawyer’s Golf Tournament. The city of Mobile offers numerous attractions for summer associates and attorneys alike. The city is the home of Mardi Gras, the Mobile BayBears, the Senior Bowl, and numerous other events.

Although the firm only conducts on-campus interviews at the University of Alabama and Cumberland the firm accepts and encourages applicants from all over the country to submit your resume.
